Sister Hazel to cap Greek Week

Greek Week will end with an event almost everyone has been looking forward to this week — the Sister Hazel concert. The “I Love the ‘90s” theme is fitting for the ‘90s rock band that will perform after country musician Dustin Lynch.

Panhellenic Executive Board Chair and Greek Week leader junior Caroline Dickens is extremely excited about the concert as the unifying event of the week.

“The concert is the event that reaches out to the greater campus community in the largest way — we have the greatest showing of non-Greek students and faculty at this event,” said Dickens.

Greek Week leader junior Rhodes Amaker agreed that Sister Hazel’s show will be the best part of the entire week.

Assistant Director of Greek Life Tanner Marcantel also emphasized how important the concert is in involving the entire Vanderbilt community.

“It’s a time of celebration,” said Marcantel. “All Vanderbilt students, faculty and staff are invited to the event, free of charge. It’s a great event during the fall where the entire campus can come to relax and have a good time.”

The concert will be on Alumni Lawn at 8 p.m. Opening act Dustin Lynch is set to play at 9 p.m. and Sister Hazel will perform at 10 p.m.
