The Vanderbilt Medical Center will join in the hockey action this year after scoring the role of Nashville Predators' new health care and emergency medical services provider.
The Medical Center recently signed an agreement with the Predators hockey team that ensures medical coverage through Vanderbilt Sports Medicine. Predators' head physician will be Jed Kuhn, M.D., who currently serves as associate professor of Orthopedics and chief of Shoulder Surgery at the Vanderbilt Sports Medicine Center. Kuhn has previously worked as head team physician for the USA Hockey National Team Developement.
