The Vanderbilt women's soccer team will host a "Soccer for the Cure" match on Sunday to raise money for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital in Nashville.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the hospital's Pediatric Hermatology/Oncology department to help find a cure and also comfort patients.
The game, Vanderbilt's season opener, is at 2 p.m. against fellow Nashville school Belmont.
