VUPD increases efforts to enforce seat belt laws

Those driving around campus may find themselves stopping more often for the boys with the blue lights.

Vanderbilt Police Department has joined with law enforcement nation and citywide to increase efforts to enforce seat belt laws during the 2008 Click It or Ticket campaign, which began Monday and will continue through the month of May.

In support of the campaign, VUPD will conduct seat belt checkpoints in various places and times throughout campus, according to a press release from Vanderbilt News Service.
